The 24th Annual SPE/ICoTA Well Intervention Conference and Exhibition, which took place 25-26 March 2025, delivered another insightful two days of the latest trends in the well intervention industry. The event at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Convention Center in The Woodlands, Texas, USA, is the industry leading event with AnTech’s booth constantly busy with visitors.
Attending this event meant that AnTech has been a presence at the conference for over 20 years as it continues to innovate and drive the industry forward.
Head of Global Sales & Marketing, Clare Miszewska-Hall commented, “We have been attending this show for many years, but it remains one of the most influential events in the sector. It is a unique chance to gather real insight and discuss the industry challenges facing all of us within the well intervention community as we move towards Net-Zero.
“Directional coiled tubing drilling services is an increasingly important part of this journey to a cleaner future. However, also understanding that oil and gas will remain a critical part of the energy mix, still contributing to at least 20 per cent of current levels. Therefore, getting more from existing fields will become more important.
“As we move towards net zero, directional coiled tubing drilling services will be a part of the conversation. By 2050 oil and gas will remain part of the energy mix, but at 20 per cent of current levels. Focus will turn towards extracting more from existing fields.
“These low-pressure reservoirs are easily damaged, but specialist drilling techniques can reduce losses. Our specialist CTD technology can also provide safe underground storage for CO2 and H2 and mining for critical minerals.
“All of these conversations as well as a constantly busy booth with customers and potential new partners means we are already looking forward to attending the 2026 event,” concluded Miszewski-Hall.
